What is your world view? How do you focus on life or view life around you? Does life have ultimate or eternal meaning? Is every life significant? In the book of Exodus we are told that God sent a message to Pharaoh through Moses and that message was: “But indeed for this purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth” (Exodus 9:16). In the story we know that Pharaoh was enslaving and abusing the children of Israel. God says He has purpose even in acts of cruelty and evil. How does this thought make you feel? That is where we are going in our Wednesday night studies in January and February: Working on what we believe—our world view.
